Terms and Conditions of Service

1. Quotes and Pricing

• Validity: Due to fluctuations in the cost of raw metals, all quotes provided by A4 Welding Inc. are valid for seven (7) calendar days from the date of issuance.

• Acceptance: A project is considered "active" once the Client provides written approval and the required deposit is received.
   

2. Payment Terms & Deposit

• Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 10% of the total project cost or $1,000.00 (whichever is less) is required before materials are ordered or work commences.

• Payment Methods: All invoicing is handled offline. We currently accept Checks and Zelle.

• Final Payment: Due immediately upon project completion or receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in writing.
   

3. Late Fee Policy

• Grace Period: Payments not received within 30 days of the invoice date are considered delinquent.

• Accrual: Delinquent accounts will be charged a late fee of 1.5% per month (18% per annum) on the total outstanding balance.

• Collection: In the event of non-payment, the Client agrees to pay all costs of collection, including reasonable attorney fees and court costs.
   

4. Change Orders & Modifications

• Process: Any changes to the original scope of work (design, material, or timeline) will require a new contract or a written Change Order.

• Cost: Change orders will be billed at our standard hourly rate plus the cost of additional materials. Work on the modification will not begin until the Change Order is signed.
   

5. Client Inspection & "Discovery of Defects"

• 48-Hour Window: The Client is responsible for inspecting the work immediately upon completion. Any claimed defects, errors, or omissions must be reported to A4 Welding Inc. in writing within 48 hours.

• Acceptance: Failure to report issues within this 48-hour window constitutes full and final acceptance of the work as-is.
   

6. Media Rights (Photography)

• License to Document: The Client grants A4 Welding Inc. the right to take photographs and/or video of the project on-site.

• Marketing Use: These images may be used for the Company’s website, portfolio, and social media. A4 Welding Inc. will protect Client privacy by avoiding the display of house numbers or sensitive personal identifiers.
   

7. Warranties and Exclusions (PENDING)

• Standard Exclusions: No warranty is provided for rust or corrosion on raw/unpainted steel, nor for damages resulting from misuse or third-party alterations.

8. Liability and Insurance (PENDING)

• Limit of Liability: [Section under review pending insurance policy alignment]

• Boilerplate: To the fullest extent permitted by law, A4 Welding Inc.’s liability shall not exceed the total project price. A4 Welding Inc. is not responsible for damage to property not directly related to the weld site or for pre-existing structural hazards.

9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any legal proceedings shall be held in Riverside County, CA.
